As we’ve posted a number of times in the past, Thelema has its own Mardi Gras krewe – Krewe What Thou Wilt. Organized by members of Alomombrados Oasis, OTO this will be the fourth year they mask and march during carnival, part of the KreweDeLusion parade. They are now inviting OTO Brethren from around the country as well as non-initiates who support our work to become Krewe Members and marching with them, or attending the parade as spectators or just living vicariously – but delectably. Their site says:
“As we continue to build this endeavor, we wish to open up membership to our brothers and sisters in other areas. We hope many of you will be able to travel to New Orleans to march with us, experience the magic of Mardi Gras, and celebrate and promulgate Thelema. Those unable to do so but still wishing to contribute may make a donation through our GoFundMe, at https://www.gofundme.com/
“Membership in Krewe What Thou Wilt is not restricted to initiates of the O.T.O.; friends of the Order are also welcome to join. You also do not have to march in the parade in order to be a member. These things will, however, impact your dues. Instructions and forms are included in the Membership Package.
