Robert Buratti Creating Portrait of Shiva X°

Robert Buratti of Collective777, the Art Guild of Ordo Templi Orientis Australia is hard at work on a portrait of Shiva X° the Most Holy King of Australia. OTO Australia’s website gives some history of the Order on that continent and his leadership”

“O.T.O commenced operations in Australia in the early 20th century and was later re-established in the early 1980s. The Australian O.T.O was incorporated as a non profit religious association in 1990. The Grand Lodge of Australia (AUGL) was formed in 2006 under the leadership of Grand Master Shiva X°, who has served continuously as the Frater Superior’s Representative since 1990.

“The O.T.O experience in Australia, referred to as the Path in Eternity, is unique in the O.T.O world. It is committed to national development through the five fold regional strategy of Lodge, Chapter, Senate, Church and Syllabus in its centres, with active local bodies based in every major city. AUGL delivers an annual schedule of public celebrations, lectures, assemblies, exhibitions, publications, member newsletters and seminars. Its unique national Syllabus drawn from the international O.T.O Curriculum is taught in local bodies and supplements the training of progressive initiation through the System. AUGL was the first Grand Lodge in the world to establish a professional fine art guild in Collective777, and leads the world in its close service and alliance with the A ∴ A ∴

“Great emphasis is placed on unity in diversity in Australia, and the fraternal bonds of the Order. Members are considered and treated as ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’. The Grand Lodge of Australia is still relatively young and constantly developing, with many opportunities for members to contribute, grow, learn, lead, serve their brethren and assist in the humanitarian mission to promulgate and celebrate the Law of Thelema.”
