Kenneth Anger is a seminal American underground filmmaker and admitted follower of the teachings of Aleister Crowley. His first public screening was arranged by Harry Smith. He is one of the first filmmakers to depict live ritual being performed, and Crowley’s likeness being revered.
The Library of Congress has posted a restored/preserved copy of his early film: Eaux d’artifice (“Artificial waters” / “Water works”)
