Black Doldrums’ recently released a new single, “Mae’s Desire,” which was inspired by the life story of Betty May Golding who, among many other things, married Raoul Loveday, the unfortunate devotee of The Great Beast who died while residing at the Abbey of Thelema in Cefalu. Crowley later sued over over her characterizations of him in her ghost-written autobiography Tiger-Woman: My Story… and lost.
