Today is Bloomsday, the annual celebration in which James Joyce’s Ulysses breaks out of the classroom and hits the streets. To commemorate his first date with his future wife, Nora Barnacle, Joyce set his novel on June 16, 1904. That date ended with a hand job, but that isn’t what we’ll be describing today. Today, we’ll give you recipes for a Bloomsday Breakfast (or dinner, if you prefer).
- Beef Heart Braised in Wine
- Absolute Best Livers and Onions
- Giblet Soup
- Irish Herbed Potatoes
- Pan-Fried Lamb Kidneys
