The Magician is a 1926 American silent film directed by Rex Ingram adapted from the 1908 novel The Magician by W. Somerset Maugham, a novel whose main character is a rather unflattering version of The Master Therion himself, called “Oliver Haddo” in the film. as om Maugham’s novel.
