CBS.com reports that the Strange Angel series which is carried exclusively on its CBS All Access streaming service has tapped the Scottish actor Angus Macfadyen to join the cast portraying Aleister Crowley in the second season of the series. Strange Angel, as we’ve reported previously, is “inspired” by George Pendels’ book of the same name about the life of Jack Parsons. Crowley will be the only other character who was a historical figure besides Parsons, the rest being composites of multiple historical figures, given fictional names in the series.
