Fulgur Press just announced the status of their upcoming publication of the Tarot of Leonora Carrington. Carrington was a noted Surrealist painter and occultist. We’ve blogged about her a fair amount over the years. We’re fans! Actually I’ve been reading her novel The Hearing Trumpet this week. Fulgur’s FB page says:

“This week we’ve been putting the specifications together for our forthcoming title, ‘The Tarot of Leonora Carrington.’ This is not only one of our most ambitious projects yet but also one of the most special.
“The heavily illustrated volume will be the first publication of Carrington’s tarot and will feature contributions from Gabriel Weisz Carrington, Susan Aberth and Tere Arcq; giving a unique and insightful view into Carrington’s life and work.
