Ixel Balamke’s Wine Notes –

Color – straw yellow

Aroma – peaches and pears

Initial taste – Crispy pure white peaches, bosc pears, and lots of chunky minerals

Finish – Crispy refreshing fruit with hints of vanilla at the end.

Price $24

I will be the first to admit that I’m not a white wine drinker.  Next to reds, whites seems lack luster to me but this wine is an exception.  It is made the way I think Chardonnay should be made not over oak where I taste wood in each sip nor is it like over buttered, just crisp fruit lots of minerals and flourishes of vanilla.  A lovely wine for a hot summer afternoon.  If this was a French wine, it would cost 3 or 4 times the price therefore it is a steal at $24.  FYI I try to keep at least 2 in my personal wine cellar.
