DavidTibet.com reports that the release of his first two solo albums is being delayed due to issues with printing the packaging. To wit:
Unfortunately, there is a slight delay with the release of my first 2 solo albums, FERELITH & FONTELAUTUS. Although all the lathes have been cut, and all the black vinyl has been pressed, and all of these 12” vinyl are now with me, there have been problems with the screen printing, due to the fine detail required for both of the albums’ cover-artwork.
Our ScreenPrinter Patty has already printed 3 versions of the cover for FERELITH, but neither he nor I were entirely happy with the results. So he is now trying a different ScreenPrinting technique. We are hoping that this will work. If it doesn’t, we will need to rethink how we print the covers.
I do hope that these will be ready soon. Please know that I and Patty are giving it our full attention. I and he do want these to look perfect, as do you! I will keep you updated, and I hope to have some good news soon. The first image shows the new covers being prepared, and the second image one of the rejected CoverSpreads.
Both formats of FERELITH & FONTELAUTUS sold out immediately. However, if anyone does require a refund, please let us know and we will do so immediately, and offer the copy to one of those on the waiting list.
