Royal Mummies Transported to New Museum in Cairo via Grand Procession

Late last week, 22 royal mummies were transported in a grand procession from the venerable Cairo Museum to the new  National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. I’ll bet the reincarnation Ankh f n Khonsu who first appeared in 1875 would have love the pomp and circumstance. Many believe this spectacle was mounted to try and revive Egypt’s tourism biz.
