We’re putting the finishing touches to our design for Austin Osman Spare’s Psychopathia Sexualis… a jaw-dropping portfolio of drawings long thought lost, but recently discovered at the Kinsey Institute by @pfeifferwalz. Publication will coincide with the first public exhibition of the drawings hosted by @icebergprojects in Chicago from 19 March through 15 May 2022. This represents the first solo show for Spare in the USA and we’re delighted to be involved. I’ll be posting a few images from the portfolio to IG in the coming weeks, but only selections… most would never pass the censor! Full details of the book will appear via our Newsletter and website in the next few months.
as a fan of both AOS and Richard von Krafft-Ebing (and sufferer of several “cerebral neuroses”) i am quite looking forward to this.
