I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there’s going to be a wine shortage next year. It’s not just because Napa and Sonoma got caught fire. But also Oregon, Washington, and Idaho who all grow grapes, they had fires that hurt production. While in Europe, they too had a poor year. France, Spain, and Italy had a terrible weather due to unexpected spring frost and hail. then there was the summer drought. All of this combined resulted in producing 14% less grapes. Even in Croatia had fires that hurt grape production. All of these problems have the result of less wine and your wine will cost more.
