Host Harper Feist speaks to Rain Al-Alim, which is the nom de plume of the author of Jinn Sorcery. He has chosen to remain anonymous to avoid the stigmatization that practitioners of magic and sorcery can experience in his country – and the punishment can include beheading in some countries. He holds a degree in journalism and is currently studying Arabic philology; and he has studied and practiced the occult arts for approximately 17 years.
