Neuroscience Reveals 4 Rituals For Happiness recently published a piece on the book The Upward Spiral: Using Neuroscience to Reverse the Course of Depression, One Small Change at a Time by Alex Korb PhD touting its “rituals” for making “you a happier person.” These can be summarized as:

1. The most important question to ask when you feel down

2. Label negative feelings

3. Make that decision

4. Touch people

Korb’s book describes how each of these actions affects brain chemistry and function. While most of the “rituals” offered come down a simple recognition of key issues and contemplation thereof, those with some knowledge of the Art can amp them up with logical embellishments – writing out pertinent statements and generating sigils based on them, thinking of the attributions of particular thoughts and feelings and how they relate to the zodiac, etc. and then coming up with pertinent perfumes, colors, Angelic names to build into the ritual and so on.
