Mediums and Visionaries Art Exhibition

exhibition alma mediums and visionary, museu es baluard de Palma, from 14 February 2019

Es Baluard presents a new exhibition project within its cycle of thematic samples that arise from the context itself, and this time we focus on spirituality.

The exhibition brings together medium-sized drawings and paintings, notebooks of life and textile work. Works and lives linked to the expansion of spiritualism in the early twentieth century, theosophy and anthroposophy, esoteric rituals, the mediumistic capacity to connect with spirits, the material detachment of anarchism or a potential visionary capable of linking the past and the future . The research on these authors focuses on the context of forms of dissenting knowledge, sharing looks and inner exiles in a Europe that stages its shipwreck between the development of science and the mutilation of wars, death and the hope of reincarnation .

These creations offer a beauty and intimate drive that must be perceived in the shortest distance, which offers this exhibition: embroidery of fluidic forms, floral drawings, gardens of Eden, cosmic maps, planetary architectures, portraits of spirits, sacred geometry, alphabets secrets, healing recipes, esoteric symbolism, transmission of messages from beyond, scientific writing and multiple legacies about their extraordinary experiences.
