Italy’s Black Letter Press is currently running an IndieGoGo campaign to finance the translation and printing of a new, faithful English translation of the infamous black magic grimoire Il Drago Rosso.” Their solicitation page states:
“The Red Dragon, or the Grand Grimoire, is a black magic grimoire that claims to date back some time around the early 1800’s. This little book contains instructions purported to summon Lucifuge Rofocale, for the purpose of forming a Deal with the Devil. The work has been regarded as one of the more atrocious grimoires.
“Several versions of Il Drago Rosso exist with minor or significant differences. We did extensive research and translation work, to create a new and more complete Italian version. We intend to produce a new faithful english translation of this title. Special care will be taken to ensure that the original intent is maintained.
