Word is circulating that Alobar Greywalker aka Frater PVN, LA-BAJ-A aka William Siebert has passed away, reportedly from COVID-19.
He has resided in New Orleans for quite some time now and was a well known figure among the tarot readers working in Jackson Square.
Earlier in his life he was a member of what’s now known as the Typhonian Order which was founded and run by Kenneth Grant and Alobar had responsibility for a “Power Zone” in North American. During this time, he published the Thelemic newsletter Mezla, which was chock-full of thought-provoking, arcane lore and speculation. He would later become a member of the Chthonic Auranian Temple.

I’m so saddened to hear of Alobars passing. His and my friendship was seldom and shorter than I had hoped it to be. But I’ll never forget him.
