Boingboing recently posted an item about a Twitterbot that regularly generates and sends out sigils of fanciful Spirits, both fair and foul. Sayeth BB:
“The Lesser Bot is a twitterbot that is writing a machine-generated grimoire, complete with summoning runes, which is timely, given that we’re entering the age of demon-haunted computers.
“The Lesser Bot of Solomon offers you endless pages from a text in the style of Ars Goetia and the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum.”
Now while these sigils aren’t designed for evocation of any pre-existing spirits known to sorcerers past and present, one might speculate that the sigils would provide the basis for new spirits to form around and attach themselves too. If anyone out there can take the time to work with a few of these for a while, please contact us to let us know the results you see.
