Various British news outlets, including the Daily Mail and Mirror, are reporting that Tanera Mor, an island off the West coast of Scotland is up for sale with an asking price of 2 million British Pounds – give or take a mil. This island is considered the inspiration for the setting of cult film “The Wicker Man,” originally released in 1973 and featuring Christopher Lee and Britt Ecklund. The film slowly reveals that the island is populated by a thriving Pagan community that’s woven public ritual into its civil functioning.
