The Scotsman reports:
“Boleskine House, on the banks of Loch Ness near Foyers in the Highlands, is still ablaze and fire crews have been unable to get inside the building to check for casualties.
“About 60% of the building had been destroyed by the time fire crews arrived shortly after 1.40pm [GMT] on Wednesday.”

Boleskine House was purchased by Crowley and outfitted for his undertaking the Abramelin working. He found it suitable for this working because: “the first essential is a house in a more or less secluded situation. There should be a door opening to the north from the room of which you make your oratory. Outside this door, you construct a terrace covered with fine river sand. This ends in a ‘lodge’ where the spirits may congregate,” as Crowley stated in his Confessions. He would inaugurate the 6 month long working, but left it unfinished.
