On this day of the Feast for the Lion and Serpent, I thought that I would share one of the earliest images of the Lion and the Serpent. It is of Apedemak, the Lion Warrior God of Meroe (Nubia). Apedemak is the child of Bast and Ra or Sekhet-Bast-Ra created Apedemak.
