Today, February 8, is National Iowa Day in the United States. Since 2011 the state snack of Iowa has been s’mores, a sticky sweet treat made of a toasted marshmallow and a wedge of chocolate sandwiched between two graham crackers. Graham flour is a form of whole grain wheat flour; wheat is sacred to Ishtar, Osiris, Demeter and Ceres.
