Here’s a fun video of author Graham Hancock lecturing in Turkey. Wikipedia notes that he’s “a British writer and reporter. Hancock specialises in pseudoscientific theories involving ancient civilisations, stone monuments or megaliths, altered states of consciousness, ancient myths and astronomical and astrological data from the past.
“One of the main themes running through many of his books is a posited global connection with a “mother culture” from which he believes all ancient historical civilisations sprang.[2] An example of pseudoarchaeology, his work has neither been peer reviewed nor published in academic journals.”
Meanwhile the boilerplate accompanying the video says:
“Graham Hancock delivers a mind-blowing lecture during the ‘Origins of Civilization Tour’ of ancient Turkey, visiting Göbekli Tepe and other sites with Hugh Newman and Andrew Collins. This was Graham’s first visit to Göbekli Tepe and in this exclusive presentation Graham shares his initial insights and how this fits into his other groundbreaking research.

Have fun – but you might not want to take notes and use them as the basis of a doctoral thesis.
