New Weiser Catalogue Posted

Weiser Antiquarian Books has released its latest catalogue of goodies which include jawns like:

Chicago: Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum, 1925. First Edition. Hardcover. Small quarto. xvi + 112pp (+ blanks) Original off-white cloth spine with decorated papered boards. Paper title labels to spine and front board. Color frontis, black and white designs etc in-text, rubricated capitals throughout. First Edition limited to 250 copies numbered copies, signed by the author, of which this is number 91. The third major Kabbalistic work by Frater Achad (Charles Stansfeld Jones – 1886-1950), one time student of Aleister Crowley. The design is by the renowned book craftsman, Will Ransom. Spine a little darkened, corners lightly rounded and soft paper covering of the boards rubbed through to the board at the extremes of the points. Small dark mark (half the size of a match stick) on spine fold, a little chipping to the spine label (not affecting the design), neat contemporary owner’s name and acquisition date on first blank, still a lovely VG+ copy and very unusual thus (no dustjacket, none issued). Chicago: Published for the Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum by the New Æon Publishing Co. [1924]. First Edition. Softcover stapled booklet. Large octavo (6 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches). (viii) + 12 + (iipp. list of ‘Books for Students’) Original patterned printed wrappers with red title within cross on front wrapper, and Achad’s lamen in red on rear wrapper. Achad’s essay on the kabbalistic symbolism of the Rose-Cross. As always, the wrappers, which overlap the text book considerably, are a little bruised at the corners and head and tail of spine, in all other respects the booklet is near Fine. Item #59623
