Author Says Washington Monument Is “Illuminist Depiction of Sex Magick”

Washington Monument in Washington, DC

Anyone who has seen the Washington Monument in the US capital, Washington, DC, probably realizes that it is a phallic symbol. It can also be considered a symbol of Freemasonry in that many of the marble blocks were donated by various Masonic Lodges across the nation. It is possible also to imply the union of male and female, given that the Monument is placed between two concentric circles.

Matt Frohlich, a student “pursuing a master’s degree in materials and nanotechnology,” goes further, claiming that the monument is “an unconstitutional violation of the separation of church and state.” He makes these claims in The Spectrum, the student-run newspaper at North Dakota State University.

The Washington Monument is an Illuminist Depiction of Sex Magick.
