Yesterday, August 26, was the Feast of Saint Krishna, and of Cagliostro.

Cagliostro is best known as a late 18th century mystic, magician, Freemason, alchemist and a healer. In the recent Marvel film, Doctor Strange, Cagliostro is mentioned frequently; the “Book of Cagliostro: Study of Time” is an ancient artifact containing several dark spells of magic and is used as an item of power.

According to The Invisible Basilica of Sabazius, Krishna is: “The eighth and principal Avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, the preserver, the eighth child of Vasu-deva and Devaki, the principle expounder of Vedantism. Crowley considered him to be a human being, a Magus of A:. A:., whose Word has survived as INRI.” He was killed by his own wish with a hunter’s arrow.
