Nurse With Wound’s Andrew Liles Releasing 42 Hour Long Album

Andrew Liles, the primum mobile of Nurse With Wound and intermittent member of his pal David Tibet’s Current 93 has announced the completion of Part II of his massive Colossus project. He describes the project on his FB page:

“COLOSSUS is an inconceivably massive project that consists of 50 tracks all of which are 50 minutes long.

“Parts One and Two combined are just short of 42 hours of ‘music’.

“The ‘songs’ are adaptations of every single hit from the last 50 years that was at Number One in the UK charts on my birthday.

“The music is either in the same key or with the same notes played but in a different order, backwards or inverted. Further music and notation has been added by myself. They are absolutely nothing like the originals.

“Narration comes from the wonderful and timeless voices of Bobbie SeagroattJon Seagroatt Benjamin Louche James Worse David Bunting Jean-herve Peron John Doran Edward Ka-Spel irr. app. (ext.) Maniac, Brian Poole aka Renaldo M and the Smith sisters courtesy of daddy Nafasi Mbwa
