John Michael GreerJohn Michael Greer, editor of the new edition of Israel Regardie’s The Golden Dawn, will speak February 21, 2016 at William Blake Lodge in the Valley of Baltimore, Maryland. First published in 1937, The Golden Dawn has become one of the most influential modern handbooks of magical theory and practice. In his talk, Greer provides a discussion of what went into producing the new edition of this book, scheduled to be released January 8, as well as a general introduction to the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

One of the most respected and innovative authors and teachers in today’s occult community, John Michael Greer is an archdruid emeritus in the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA), and currently heads the Druidical Order of the Golden Dawn (DOGD), an order practicing Druid ceremonial magic. The author of three novels and more than thirty nonfiction books covering a range of subjects from occultism to the future of industrial society, he also writes the widely cited blog “The Archdruid Report.” He lives in Cumberland, Maryland, with his wife Sara.
