Visitors to the 12th edition of Frieze London and the third round of Frieze Masters may sense a hint of nostalgia in the air. This is particularly evident on the stand of London’s Helly Nahmad Gallery at Frieze Masters, which opens to VIPs this afternoon. Less an art-fair booth and more a 1968 apartment in Paris, Nahmad, with the help of the British film-set designer Robin Brown, has created the habitat of a mythical ex-pat Italian who bought the art of his time.
