2008 Mazzei Badiola
Ixel Balamke’s Wine Notes
Color – Ruby
Aroma – Blueberry not much aroma maybe because it’s still young.
Initial Taste- Blue Fruits and pepper
Final Taste – Medium body blueberry and lots of white pepper on the end. Not much depth but it is still a good wine for the price. I have tasted better but not a bad choice for inexpensive wine.
Produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, taken mainly from the highest altitude vineyards, it boasts excellent structure and smoothness. A wine with a great personality and versatile at the same time.
