William Blake Lodge, O.T.O., is proud to announce a celebration of the Three Days of the Writing of the Book of the Law with lectures from both Brother Vere Chappell and Sister Lita-Luise Chappell. The event will take place Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10, 2016, in the Valley of Baltimore, Maryland. Meals will be available on site at William Blake Lodge during presentation hours.
In addition to readings from the Book of the Law, the weekend will include:

- Erotic Symbolism in Ancient Egyptian Art
- Sex Magick in Theory and Practice (Closed to I°)
Dr. Vere Chappell is a writer, photographer, and researcher specializing in sexuality and spirituality. He travels extensively, studying and documenting sacred sexuality in art, history, and culture around the world. He has been a practitioner of ceremonial magick for 30 years, and joined Ordo Templi Orientis in 1989. Shortly thereafter he founded LVX Camp (now Star Sapphire Lodge) in Los Angeles, and has served as Treasurer General for OTO worldwide since 2005. As a Bishop of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica he trains and supervises clergy and regularly administers the sacraments of the church. He holds a doctoral degree in Human Sexuality and is a founding member of the Academia Ordo Templi Orientis, a scholarly research society within OTO. He is the author of Sexual Outlaw, Erotic Mystic: The Essential Ida Craddock (Red Wheel/Weiser, 2010) and editor of Lunar and Sex Worship (Teitan Press, 2010) and Snowdrops from a Curate’s Garden by Aleister Crowley (Edda Publishing, 2013). He lives in Southern California with his wife, Lita-Luise Chappell.
Dr. Lita-Luise Chappell (Soror Lutea) became an O.T.O. member in February of 1991. She was granted a Camp Charter in 1999, and was Master of Golden Lotus Oasis for 14-years. She is an ordained Priestess and Bishop of E.G.C. She is a member of the Psychology Guild, the E.G.C. Clergy Training committee, and the Profess House committee. Soror Lutea is a past speaker for the Kaaba Collouium and Pastoral Counseling teams. She has also been a speaker at previous NOTOcons, Women’s Symposiums, and travels globally offering various Thelemic classes and Mass Seminars to Local Bodies. Lita received her M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Health Education from the University for Humanistic Studies in San Diego, is a certified Mind-Body Hypnotherapist from the School of Healing Arts, and a Neuro-Linguistics practitioner. She received her doctorate from the Institute for Human Sexuality, San Francisco, is a member of the American College of Sexologists, and has been in private practice since 2008. She lives in Laguna Hills, California with her husband Brother Vere Chappell (Frater S.L.Q.). She is also the author of The Thelemic Cookbook – Cooking with Correspondences, and From the Mundane to the Magical – A Lifetime of Poetic Moments.
