“Day 1 of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s three-day teaching on Tsongkapa’s Essence of True Eloquence and Chandrakirti’s Entering the Middle Way on October 2, 2020 at the request of Taiwanese Buddhists. As to why this might be of interest to Thelemite’s. The Prophet of the Lovely Star did study Buddhism via the translated texts that were starting to show up in Great Britain around the turn of the last century and studied it further in person in the Far East. For a space of time he did consider himself a Buddhist first and foremost and some would say that one of his major contributions to magical and mystic practice was blending Buddhist practices like meditation, asana and mudra etc with ceremonial magick practices.
