Veteran Exorcist Publishing Account of his Work

The Exorcist Files is a new book from veteran exorcist, Father Carlos Martin, a Roman Catholic priest who’s exploits were depicted in the 1970’s horror flick The Exorcist. His website says:

“From Catholic priest and host of blockbuster hit podcast The Exorcist Files, this book is an even deeper dive into the insidious ways the Devil attempts to control us and how we can defeat him.

“In this pioneering work for believers, nonbelievers, and anyone curious about the supernatural, Father Carlos Martins shares his real-life exorcism case files.

“From witchcraft and pagan practices to pornography and even emotional trauma, evil looks for any opening to cause us pain and destruction. The Exorcist Files lays out the wisdom of the Catholic Church’s understanding of the Devil, how it combats him, and its ministry of liberating souls. In what journalist and New York Times Bestselling author Rod Dreher calls “an instant classic,” Father Martins partners with psychologists and physicians to distinguish mental and physical illness from demon possession and then lays out a plan for the victim’s liberation, taking the reader along each step of the process.

“Differentiating myth from reality, Father Martins teaches us how to protect ourselves against evil so that we may possess the freedom of being God’s children.”

Now, news reports on this book will point out that psychiatrists, medical doctors and scientists have posited that many of the phenomena attributed to demonic possession have biochemical bases and poopoo the involvement of maleficent discarnate beings – but modern mages do understand that preter-human intelligences may be able to attach themselves to or express themselves through a diverse range of physical vehicles – sigils, altars, etc – so why not through particular biochemical formulas?
