Scarlet Imprint Publishing Update

Here’s a note sent out by UK occult publishers Scarlet Imprint:

A quick update for all of our readers.

The pre-order for the first volume of The Tarot of Marsilio by Christophe Poncet will open next week. A truly groundbreaking work on the Tarot de Marseille, and the first of three volumes. It makes a great companion piece to its dark twin, Peter Mark Adams’s The Game of Saturn, with the two authors having explored some of those synergies and contrasts in conversation in Two Esoteric Tarots.

In other publishing news, Ayis Lertas’s Arriton will now be shipping in the first week of September. Our printer was unable to get the papers we specified due to summer paper mill closures in Europe. Our apologies for the delay, it is entirely out of our hands and was not disclosed to us when we opened the pre-order.

We also have a delay with the fine edition of Avalon Working due to an error made by our fine bindery with the slipcases. This is extremely frustrating, as they were already running late with the project. We were expecting the completed books to be with us last week, but only saw a copy yesterday, which was when we became aware of the error. We will personally email everyone who has ordered the fine binding as soon as we have a clearer idea of the timescale to complete the books.

Aside from the fine edition, Mark Nemglan’s work on the sacred landscape of Glastonbury is in stock and shipping in hardback and paperback editions.

Publishing is a devilishly tricky art, and we are committed to absolute transparency with our readers over any issues and delays. Without your continuing support and pre-orders, we would be unable to survive in these perilous times. As always, we will personally and promptly reply to any questions about your books and orders; what we do is a labour of love.

We hope all in the northern hemisphere are enjoying the summer, and that those in the south have felt the year turn.

Warm regards,

Peter and Alkistis

Frater Lux Ad Mundi
