UK occult publisher Scarlet Imprint is opening pre-orders for their first title of 2022, Gordon White’s Ani.Mystic. Their posted description says:
Gordon White’s sequel to his acclaimed Star.Ships is a book of adventure and encounter, of optimism and healing. Ani.Mystic is, explicitly, a magician’s book, a dreaming book, one which aims to fundamentally shift the discourse within the western magical tradition. Gordon explains, ‘the sole preoccupation of this book is exploring and uncovering animism as a dangerous category of European thought…’
The fine editions are handbound in full iridescent green goatskin, custom marbled endpapers, all edges purple under gold, finished with a purple silk ribbon, and presented in a clamshell box. Limited to 56 hand-numbered copies.
The standard edition is bound in shimmering emerald cloth, hummingbird glyph in holographic foil on the front, rose endpapers, purple silk ribbon, and printed dust jacket. Printed on 150 gsm paper. Limited to 900 hand-numbered copies.
The Bibliothèque rouge paperback edition is sewn, and printed on 120 gsm paper. The digital edition will be available on the website when the books are in stock, and will be sent gratis with every book ordered directly from us when they ship.
The book is currently in production, with estimated shipping of the standard hardbacks and paperbacks by the end of February.
