Research shows that having more sex often results in increased happiness. A recent study tried to see whether the increased sex was the cause of the happiness. Unfortunately, when researchers assign sex as a task, followed by a filling out a form, it’s not quite as exciting. Who’d have thought?
Maybe a better study would involve fewer forms and more fun.
Part of the difficulty of studying sex is that spontaneity plays heavily into excitement. Feeling like sex is a requirement rather than a treat puts a bit of a damper on things.
The Guardian reports about this, saying “More sex please, but just don’t tell us to do it.”
