Large Sunken Byzantine Ship Discovered in Black Sea off the Coast of Sevastopol on Crimean Peninsula

A large sunken Byzantine ship has been discovered in the Black Sea off the coast of the city of Sevastopol on the Crimean (Taurica) Peninsula by Russian divers from the Rostov-Dive Club.  The Byzantine vessel has been found at a depth of 82 meters, and is up to 120-125 meters long, reports the press service of Russia’s Southern Military District, as cited by the Interfax news agency.
