Some lovely folks have posted the 1948 doctoral thesis of the late Hymenaeus Alpha, aka Grady Louis McMurtry, “The Millenial Glow: Myth and Magic in the Marxist Ethics.”
For those who tuned in late, McMurtry invoked emergency powers given him in correspondence from Aleister Crowley to take charge of Ordo Templi Orientis at a point where it had fallen into disarray and inactivity and the number of living initiates had dwindled down to a tiny handful. Slowly but surely, and then much more quickly, our Most Holy Order revived and currently has thousands of active initiates around the world and more active Grand Lodges than it’s ever had since it’s founding in the late 19th century.
