Jason Louv recently posted his list of the top 5 books for getting “a deeper understanding exactly what magick is.” While this is awfully subjective, admittedly this is a reasonable place to start to get an overview of modern magick that stems from a ceremonial magick base. I’d add that Alan Moore’s Promethea series manages to expose a lot of pertinent material as well in a lively and readily appealing manner.
