Some Thelemites would hold that Deus est homo. So any stories about humans being able to sense the immanence of Divinity, even if it’s via a different lens then us, could be of interest. Stories about humans able to manifest Divine power likewise, may be of interest. While we might disagree with a more Judeo-Christian perspective on what these experiences and manifestations mean, and how they function, there could be some useful information to be mined from such accounts.
Last Summer, the New York Times Magazine ran a piece on Brazilian charistmatic preachers and wonder workers. And – I think it’s cool to see evidence and hooky-dook should actually work. Coz if they can do it, by gum, I oughta be able to with the right preparation and determination!
