Fulgur Press posted this interesting note on their FB page:
“Occasionally, we get involved with a project that lends itself to something special. Jesse Bransford’s ‘A Book of Staves’ found inspiration from the raw landscapes and magic of Iceland… so it seemed fitting that the deluxe should emulate the medieval aesthetic of William Morris, his Kelmscott edition of Beowulf leading the way. Here then is our deluxe of ‘A Book of Staves’ – one of 35 copies in full limp vellum, with yapp edges and ties, all edges gilt. Jesse produced a series of original stave drawings (or spells) especially for this deluxe. Housed in a custom silk-cloth solander box. Pure joy and produced by the amazing team @ludlowbookbinders ”
