Leaping Laughter in the Valley of Minneapolis is pleased to welcome David Shoemaker for a day of talks this weekend at the Lodge!
- 2:00pm to 4:00pm: Scrying the Enochian Aethyrs
- 4:00pm to 6:00pm: An Interactive Workshop on True Will
Scrying the Enochian Aethyrs:
The system of Enochian magick developed by John Dee and Edward Kelley in the late 1500s, has fascinated magicians across the centuries. In this interactive workshop, noted magician and teacher Dr. David Shoemaker will lead participants through the practical steps necessary to work with one important aspect of the Enochian system: The Thirty Aethyrs. Attendees will be able to participate in an actual scrying session to obtain their own visions of these astral realms, with plenty of time for questions and other discussion.
An Interactive Workshop on True Will:
Obtaining an understanding of the True Will–the guiding principle that directs our lives and gives them purpose–is a central goal in Aleister Crowley’s system of spiritual attainment known as Thelema. In this interactive workshop, Thelemic teacher Dr. David Shoemaker will review the nature and function of the True Will, and participants will have an opportunity to learn and practice specific tools to assist in the discovery of the True Will.
