Most Thelemites know that the Prophet of the Lovely Star was a prolific author, writing a multitude of poems, plays, magical treatises and such and received some good reviews for his work in the popular press in England. Still it’s a bit startling to realize that he had material published in an outlet as prominent of Vanity Fair, yes the the November 1916 issue of Vanity Fair features his essay “The Attainment of Happiness.”
