Soror Hypatia has passed along a link to a Suburban Mountaineer piece that notes that the earliest photos of K2 was taken by Jules Jacot-Guillarmod, who was the physician of the team led by Oskar Eckenstein and Aleister Crowley who attempted to reach the summit in 1902.
