Deadline.com reports that Karl Makinen from the AMC series Walking Dead will have a recurring role in Strange Angel, the (apparently) highly fictionalized accounts of the trials and tribulations of Jack Parsons, pioneering rocketeer and erstwhile O.T.O. member. Makinen will play “General Braxton,” yet another character in Strange Angel that was not a historical figure. As per our last post, outside of Parsons, none of the characters announced to appear in the series were historical figures per se. And I guess there’s no harm in that as long as people understand that the relationship of the story that’ll be told to history appears to be tangential.
