Aviva’s announcement reads:
We’re raising money to complete Boleskine House and open this fully decarbonised heritage landmark and nature hub to the public in 2025.
For six years, our volunteer-led charity has worked to bring Boleskine House back from fire-damaged ruin to a fully decarbonised heritage landmark on the shores of Loch Ness. Alongside the restoration, we’ve created five acres of wildflower meadow, planted native hedgerows and heritage apple trees, and improved the health of our streams and waterfalls—building a thriving nature hub for the community.
Now we are in our final month of construction. By the end of this year Boleskine House will finally be complete and ready to open to the public for the first time in its 270-year history—a place for learning, nature, wellbeing, and Scottish heritage.
The money we raise through the Aviva Community Fund will help us cross the finish line: completing the final works, opening our doors, and giving our volunteers, visitors, and community a warm, sustainable space to gather.
With Aviva matching every donation up to £250, your support now will bring Boleskine House fully to life.
