Ohio State University’s Hugh Urban has posted an interesting paper on the body of mystical songs called the Bhaver Gita. Composed during the 19th centuries this canon was central to the worship of the secretive Bengali-based Hindu sect, the Kartabhajas. Read the paper hear:
