The metro Line C in Rome has been plagued with problem that every archaeologist wants that they keep finding new Roman archaeology. Rome is now making a museum to start housing what they find and trying to incorporate the site as well. The remains of a second century imperial barracks were found nine meters below street level in November. The 1,753 square-meter ruin contains some 39 rooms, many of which contain original mosaics and frescoes. Lying so deep under the city, it was impossible for modern survey equipment to detect the ruin before work began.
