Stockhausen’s “Stimmung” To Be Performed at Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum in November 6, 2016. The event site says:
The six singers in Nordic Voices will perform Stockhausen’s signature works Stimmung 1968 .
The German title can mean both ” tuning ” and ” mood ” – two concepts that will be characteristic of this all weekend concert out of the ordinary .
At the concert will take place in Tomba Emmanuelle ( Emanuel Vigeland mausoleum ) is not without reason. For the decoration of the high-ceilinged , dark room sourced Vigeland inspiration from ancient tombs and Christianity dramatic stories of Creation and the Fall .
With the combination of Stockhausen’s music and Vigeland , we want to give the audience a unique concert experience that will touch the soul.
